Basketmouth and Buchi "Exposed" By The Gbagaun Police Force

Now I know how hard it is when a policeman has to investigate his friend or family member for breaking the law. This is because the "culprits" behind this production are friends to the Gbagaun Police Chief.

When I first came across the video “BasketMouth’s Girlfriend Exposed” via BBM, I was blown away by Buchi’s countenance when he was threatened by Basketmouth especially the way he held his chest like someone about to have a heart attack. “Spare my life”, he barely blurted out. I had a good laugh.

But like you know, which is why you always look forward to our next detective job, we are not all about the laughter or the grammar. We correct the errors made by these talented and some not so talented entertainers.

THE STORY

Basketmouth arrives in his house unannounced to find the path to his room littered with male and female clothes and underwear. He is immediately thrown into misery as that suggested his girlfriend whom he left at home had a marathon pre sex session with another man before making it into their room

Basketmouth gets to the doors and reluctantly badges in to meet Buchi romping his girlfriend. The betrayed boyfried threatens to kill Buchi. However the tension was shortlived as Buchi offers him a bag filled with dollars just to spare his life.

Basketmouth immediately changed tone and became hospitable towards Buchi. Buchi refuses all his offers and asks to leave instead.

Fast forward a few minutes later and Buchi is safe on the road. He makes a call which reveals that he had hustled Basketmouth with fake dollars.

THE GBAGAUNS

The room basketmouth approached is not the same room he opened. This is normally done in film making provided you can escape with it without your viewers knowledge. In this case, the pink wall in the background after opening the door drew our attention to the goof.

While Basket mouth approached the room, the space to his right had a window, a treadmill and a computer desk. On opening the door, the space had changed to a pink wall with an ironing board in the background. I think they swapped rooms to the opposite room because the speakers and table can be seen blurry in the background at the opposite room. This error should have been spotted by the continuity man or cinematographer. The shot of the scene after Basketmouth opened the door could have been taken without allowing the background show.

The next gbagaun just gets me laughing. So a man and woman gets into hot foreplay that have them not being able to get into the room before removing their clothes. They throw away all decorum because they might have obviously been looking forward to this action and they get to the room ……ONLY TO DO THE REAL THING UNDER THE SHEETS?

I don’t think that makes real life sense. I f I could not control myself to get to the room before pulling boxers, pants and bra, I will not be covering myself under the sheets when I get to the room. If I get to the room. I probably would not even make use of the bed. The shot with Buchi and the girl under the sheets does not justify the sex energy built and illustrated by the director in the preceding scene.

Finally, this is not a goof but an observation. Did Buchi have to mention he was going to church for service? Must comedians always find a way to tease and humiliate the church?  I would love to have answers and opinions from you guys.
